Hygiene in Piercing: An Art, Not Just a Step!

Why are we so meticulous ?

A piercing is not just jewelry: it’s the introduction of a foreign object into your skin, and it requires impeccable hygiene to protect your health. With us, every step of the process is designed to ensure maximum safety, using professional techniques and medical-grade equipment.

Here’s how we ensure perfect hygiene :

  • Meticulous cleaning: Before sterilization, our tools are cleaned with a specific toothbrush and medical-grade detergent (such as Dettol). This removes any visible traces or residues.
  • Ultrasound cleaning: Then, the tools are placed in an ultrasonic bath, an essential step to dislodge invisible impurities, even in the most inaccessible areas.
  • Autoclave sterilization: Once perfectly cleaned, the instruments and jewelry are placed in sterile pouches and then sterilized at high temperatures in an autoclave. This method, used in the medical field, ensures the total elimination of bacteria and viruses.

But our attention doesn’t stop there :

  • Surfaces and the workspace are disinfected between each client.
  • All jewelry is handled with disposable gloves to avoid any contamination.
  • We use single-use equipment (such as needles), which are discarded after each use.

Being meticulous is not just an option; it’s an absolute necessity to guarantee your safety and ensure that your piercing is a great experience, without compromising your health. For us, hygiene is not just a step: it’s a true discipline.
